The integration of Solaria will allow Aquanale to cover all aspects of wellness.

Aquanale, the International Trade fair for Sauna, Pool, Ambience, which takes place October 28-31, 2009 in Cologne, Germany, will, for the first time, include Solaria, the trade show for the artificial tanning industry. At previous shows, Solaria was held as a separate event.

The integration of Solaria will allow Aquanale to cover all aspects of wellness and is expected to attract new exhibitors and visitors, in addition to those who have always attended to see the latest design trends in pools, spas and saunas.

The 2009 event will also cover the private health spa industry to appeal to hotel, health spa and tanning centre operators.

The hall arrangements for Aquanale have been changed to allow the synergies of water, warmth and light to be experienced as a whole, with the entire trade fair located in Halls 10.1 and 10.2.

Aquanale is staged every two years and has continued to grow since its 2003 première, when 162 companies from 18 countries took part in the event. By 2007, the show floor expanded to 35,000 m2 (376,736 sf), with 287 exhibiting companies from 29 countries.
