Italy sees 13,000 new residential pools installed each year.

The Italian trade magazine, Piscine Oggi, has launched ForumPiscine, a new conference and trade show dedicated to the world of water, including the design, building and management of swimming pools and aquatic centres.

The trade show, taking place February 20-22, 2009 at the Verona Convention Centre in Verona, Italy, will bring together industry professionals and designers. The show will feature a conference area geared toward the latest pool technologies, as well as an exposition area showcasing the latest products and technologies.

It will also offer aquatic facility owners, managers and staff a wide range of seminars and workshops dedicated entirely to their interests. It will be held in conjunction with the ForumClub conference, which will feature sessions on marketing, management, legislation and new trends in the fitness and health club industries.

ForumPiscine looks to take advantage of Italy's growing residential and commercial pool industry. According to Piscine Oggi, Italy sees 13,000 new residential pools installed each year. The above-ground pool market is especially strong, with the number of existing above-ground pools doubling over the past two years—from 20,000 to 40,000 pools.
