From October 20 to 23, 2009, Piscina BCN will welcome visitors from around the world to see the latest innovations in the design, maintenance and renovation of public and private pools and spas. Held in Barcelona, Spain, every two years, Piscina BCN will take place at the Gran Via Exhibition Centre, where 525 exhibitors in a 32,000-m2 (344,445-sf) exhibition space are expected to greet more than 22,000 members of the pool and spa industry. This year, the trade fair will include a wellness section, showcasing spas, hydrotherapeutic baths, saunas, fitness and other equipment. Products for water treatment, design and construction of sports and recreational facilities, indoor air maintenance and outdoor living will also be featured. The first Ibero-American Sports and Recreational Facilities Congress will run concurrently with the show, bringing together sports facility developers, builders, managers, engineers and architects from 20 Ibero-American countries.
