| Quebec's pool industry heads for Laval |
Photo by David Barnsley More than 500 attendees are expected at this year's Salon Splash event. The Place Forzani convention centre in Laval, Que., will be the site of the upcoming Salon Splash, the annual trade show for Quebec's pool and spa industry, run by L'Association des commerçants de piscines du Québec (ACPQ). More than 500 attendees are expected at this year's event, which will take place November 4 to 5, 2009. The show will offer attendees the chance to see the latest innovations in products and services offered by more than 50 exhibitors. Quebec hypnotist, Messmer, will entertain audiences at the gala awards evening. Highlights of the event include the gala awards evening, to be held at the Sheraton Laval, which will include a cocktail reception and sit-down dinner. The ceremony will acknowledge winners of 'Win Your Pool or Spa' contest, along with recipients of the 'Dealer of the Year,' 'Salespeople of the Year,' 'Exhibitor of the Year' and 'New Product of the Year' awards. The ceremony will be followed by a special appearance by famous Quebec hypnotist, Messmer.
