Members of the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada's Toronto chapter gathered on July 15 to enjoy a four-hour evening cruise along the shore of Lake Ontario. More than 70 people set sail aboard the 'Jubilee Queen,' enjoying dinner, dancing, a raffle and nighttime views of the Toronto skyline. "It was a great evening and should be made an annual event," said John Bal of Northeastern Swimming Pool Distributors in Concord, Ont. Chapter president, Tom Dovgala, added, "These social events are good for the industry and the association, bringing everyone together on an informal basis to discuss how we can work together and keep the industry strong." The event was sponsored by Northeastern Swimming Pool Distributors, Natural Chemistry Inc., Hayward Pool Products Canada, Rheem Canada Ltd., and Zodiac Pool Systems Canada Inc.
