Tessier-Recreo Parc received the President's Award from Waterplay Solutions for demonstrating unique sales and marketing initiatives with their 'Annie and Paul' campaign.

Waterplay Solutions Corp., a designer and manufacturer of aquatic recreational equipment in Kelowna, B.C., has named the winners of its President's Award and Dealer of the Year for 2009.

The President's Award, which is given to the company that demonstrates unique sales and marketing initiatives, went to Tessier-Recreo Parc, a waterpark manufacturer in Nicolet, Que. The company invested significantly in a marketing campaign centred on the story of two fish named Annie and Paul.

In recognition of Tessier-Recreo Parc's accomplishments, Waterplay is providing employees with a trip to the Waterplay manufacturing facility for additional training and product information.

Playworks Inc., a designer of water play areas in Edmonton, Alta., was recognized as Waterplay's Dealer of the Year for achieving top sales in 2009, marking the second time the company has received the award. The first dealer to sell a Waterplay slide structure in Canada, Playworks was recognized in part for its work on Edmonton's Jackie Parker Park, which features many Waterplay products.
