| School's in for pool and spa professionals |
Image courtesy Keiser University eCampus A 2010 class schedule has been set for students of Keiser University's online Aquatic Engineering Degree program. Keiser University eCampus has published its 2010 online class schedule for the school's two-year Aquatic Engineering Degree Program. The 2010 program, directed by professor and Pool & Spa Marketing columnist, Connie Sue Centrella, features 12 courses, covering topics such as hydraulics, electrical and filtration technology, as well as basic chemistry, pool and architectural landscape design and construction methods. Classes are offered in one-month modules, beginning on Jan. 4, 2010. Students participate in learning activities, reading assignments and weekly live chat room sessions, among other tasks. Students must complete 36 credit hours of major courses and 24 credit hours of general education courses to complete their degree. Scholarships are available to graduates of the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) Certified Pool Operator™ (CPO) and Certified Pool/Spa Inspector™ (CPI) training programs.
