A recent distribution agreement between Nirvana Heat Pumps Inc., and Produits de Piscines Métrinox will strengthen the presence of the newly redesigned Nirvana series in the Quebec and Maritime markets.

Nirvana Heat Pumps Inc., has formed a distribution partnership with Produits de Piscines Métrinox Inc., to consolidate the company's position in the Quebec and Maritime heat pump markets.

Under the terms of the distribution agreement, Produits de Piscines Métrinox Inc., in Parc Colbert, Que., will distribute the Trydent and newly redesigned Nirvana heat pump product lines.

"We are very pleased with our agreement and partnership with Métrinox, as they bring expertise and credibility," says Michel Lesage, president of Nirvana Heat Pumps, a manufacturer of commercial and residential high-efficiency thermodynamic heat pumps in Shawinigan, Que. "This new partnership is in line with our development plan that started in 2007 and will allow us to continue our development efforts in other markets."

Denis Sauvageau, president of Métrinox, says the agreement binding the two companies was based on shared values.

"The fact they develop and build their products in Quebec was a big factor in our decision," Sauvageau says. "Their products respect the high standards of quality in an eco-energetic environment marketing approach, which is important to our company. The work accomplished by their management over the last few years ensures this partnership will be good for both parties."
