The GAVA awards honour the innovative spirit of water artisans from around the world and celebrate diverse design concepts from varying cultures.

After the success of its inaugural design awards program in 2009, organizers of the Global AquaTekture Visionary Awards (GAVA) are seeking innovative water environments for its 2010 competition.

The international design contest is open to professionals from all associations, including architects, contractors, interior and exterior designers, home/pool builders, developers and landscape architects and designers. Categories include residential/commercial pools, spas, water features, waterfalls, reflection/koi ponds and water fountains. There are also categories for designs using special materials such as lighting, acrylic walls, tiles, natural materials and green design.

GAVA is presented by Three V Enterprises, a Las Vegas, Nev.-based company that develops platforms to recognize architects, designers, builders and manufacturers worldwide. Event sponsors include Structure Studios, Zodiac Pool Products and Paramount Pool and Spa Systems.

Entries are being accepted until April 15, 2010 and can be submitted online at www.gavaawards.com.
