Donald Weekes, CIH, CSP with InAIR Environmental in Ottawa, Ont., was recently elected by the Indoor Air Quality Association's (IAQA's) board of directors to serve as the organization's treasurer. The Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) has elected a new slate of directors and officers following its 13th annual meeting and exposition held recently in Tampa, Fla. Each year, IAQA elects directors to serve three-year terms on the association's board. Newly elected is Daniel Greenblatt, ASCS, CMR (Envirotech Clean Air, Stoneham, Mass.). Re-elected to serve second terms are Wane A. Baker, PE, CIH (Michaels Engineering, La Crosse, Wis.) and Wei Tang, PhD (QLab, Cherry Hill, N.J.). IAQA officers are elected by the board of directors for one-year terms. Carl Grimes, CIEC (Healthy Habitats, Denver, Colo.) was elected president, while Wane Baker was elected first vice-president. Ian Cull, PE, CIEC, CMC (Indoor Sciences, Chicago, Ill.) and Derrick Denis, CIEC, CIAQP (Clark Seif Clark, Tempe, Ariz.) were elected vice-presidents. Donald Weekes, CIH, CSP (InAIR Environmental, Ottawa, Ont.) was elected treasurer and Glenn Fellman (Indoor Environment Communications, Rockville, Md.) was elected secretary. The IAQA is a non-profit, multi-disciplinary organization with more than 70 Canadian members.
