Northeastern Swimming Pool Distributors has relocated its head office in Vaughan, Ont., for the 2010 season.

Northeastern Swimming Pool Distributors, a swimming pool equipment and accessories distributor in Ontario and Quebec, recently relocated its head office in Vaughan, Ont., to increase efficiency.

The new 2,323-m2 (25,000-sf) office, which is located near the previous location on North Rivermede Rd., will provide the space required to keep up with product demand and maintain high levels of customer service, says Northeastern's president, Tom Dovgala.

"We pride ourselves on strong customer service," he says. "We're thrilled about growing. We're just trying to do it slowly so we don't lose the key qualities that got us here."

In 2008, the company purchased a 1,394-m2 (15,000-sf) warehouse in Pickering, Ont., which also included 465-m2 (5,000-sf) of outside storage space for pool kits, steps and other large items. In 2006, Northeastern opened a Quebec warehouse to serve the French-Canadian market.
