LMS Inc., was recently awarded the inaugural 'Acceleration of the Year' award by The Coleman Company Inc.

LMS Inc., which earlier this year introduced the Coleman Spas line of hot tubs, was the recent recipient of The Coleman Company's first 'Acceleration of the Year Award.'

Coleman, a supplier of outdoor recreational products, presented the award following the successful launch of the hot tub line, which is manufactured and distributed by LMS, noting the company exceeded expectations in "creating an innovative product with a cohesive support system in an expedited timeline."

"LMS is thrilled to be the inaugural recipient of the Acceleration of the Year Award," said Shiva Noble, vice-president, LMS Inc. "This year marked the successful launch of Coleman Spas, which includes seven models, with online and merchandising support and a comprehensive sales and service network. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Coleman brand."

After the partnership was announced in the fall of 2009, LMS quickly started laying the groundwork to bring the hot tub line to market. This included finalizing a distribution deal with Pool Corporation this March (PSM Online, March 25) and hosting an open house at the company's Pomona, Calif.-based manufacturing facility in April to unveil the Coleman Spas collection.
