Water-themed design competition calls for worldwide entries

The GAVA awards competition is searching for innovative water-inspired designs.

The Global Aquatekture Visionary Awards (GAVA) competition is looking for the most innovative water-inspired designs from around the world.

This international design competition is open to all design disciplines including: architects, contractors, interior and exterior designers, home builders, pool builders, developers and landscape architects and designers.

Categories include residential and commercial pools, spas, water features, waterfalls, reflection and koi ponds and water fountains, as well as special materials such as lighting, acrylic walls, tiles, natural materials and green design.

GAVA is open to professionals from all associations, allowing them to compete in the global market. Entries are being accepted until May 15, 2009 and can be submitted online at www.gavaawards.com.
