Approximately 25,000 aquatic professionals are trained with National Swimming Pool Foundation® (NSPF®) educational materials each year and NSPF instructors have trained over 300,000 professionals in 70 countries.
Professionals looking to learn various teaching methodologies, learning theories, lesson planning, administrative policies and procedures and graded practical teaching exercises may wish to take a National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) 2012 instructor training class.
According to the NSPF, its commitment to impartial, science-based classroom and online training programs has increased recognition and worldwide demand for the organization's training programs. The remaining courses available for registration in 2012 include: • May 30-June 1 (Republic of Singapore) registration deadline: April 25; • June 23-25 (Gold Coast, QLD, Australia, in conjunction with the SPLASH! Pool & Spa Show) registration deadline: June 18; and • Oct. 8-10 (Norfolk, Va., prior to the World Aquatic Health™ Conference) registration deadline: Sept. 3.
Each class is capable of accommodating English and Spanish instructor candidates. Candidates must have a valid Certified Pool Operator® CPO® certification or may contact NSPF for details on how else to qualify for the instructor course. Contact Silvia Uribe via e-mail at
