Niagara Falls, Ont., set the stage for Canada’s pool and spa industry as professionals from across the country gathered for the 2025 Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo. Over the course of the event, attendees experienced a dynamic mix of education, networking, and hands-on product discovery, offering a snapshot of the latest technologies, services, and business strategies shaping the industry heading into the year ahead.

With strong attendance and an active show floor, the conference and expo reinforced the value of bringing the industry together in one place.

A show floor built for engagement

From the moment the doors opened, the Expo floor was buzzing with energy. Exhibitors from across the pool, spa, and wellness sectors showcased new products, equipment, and solutions for builders, retailers, and service professionals.

Live demonstrations and face-to-face conversations let attendees explore innovations firsthand, ask questions, and make informed purchasing and business decisions. The diversity of exhibitors reflected the full scope of the industry, offering value for every segment.

Education at the core

Education remained a cornerstone of the conference, with a strong lineup of seminars and sessions led by industry experts. Topics included technical updates, business development, regulatory considerations, workforce challenges, and emerging trends shaping the pool and spa sector.

A highlight of the program was a Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada (PHTCC) members-only session delivered by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA), which provided clear guidance on recent electrical safety rule updates and implementation changes affecting pools and hot tubs.

Collectively, these sessions offered practical insights and actionable takeaways that attendees could apply immediately, reinforcing the conference’s role as a trusted source of professional development and regulatory clarity for the industry.

Connection beyond the show floor

Networking was a defining feature of the 2025 Conference & Expo. From informal conversations between sessions to purpose-driven events that brought the industry together, attendees had numerous opportunities to reconnect with peers, build new relationships, and strengthen industry ties.

Key highlights included the Women in Swim event, which created space for meaningful conversation and mentorship; the always-popular Industry Night, where the Design & Construction Award winners were proudly celebrated; and a lively Networking Mixer that encouraged connections across regions, roles, and experience levels.

Together, these experiences reinforced the value of in-person engagement and community within the pool and spa industry. These face-to-face interactions remain among the most valued aspects of the conference, fostering collaboration, shared learning, and lasting professional relationships.

The positive feedback underscored the Conference & Expo’s continued relevance and impact in the Canadian pool and spa industry.

Looking ahead

The success of the 2025 Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo lays a strong foundation for the future. As the industry continues to evolve, the conference remains a vital platform for education, innovation, and connection.
