Aquatic Access Model AG-48 Pool Lift
Model AG-48 is a water-powered chair which lifts riders over a 1016-mm (40-in.) tall hot tub wall. Other models (the AG-60 and the AG-72) will lift higher.
Aquatic Access’s IGAT Model lifts have a simple, elegant design, where form follows function, using only the free power of water pressure, which provides safety, reliability, and durability, as well as ease of use for the rider and provider.
Water from a garden hose or plumbed-in line provides the power to lift up to a 136-kg (300-lb) adult. Water fills the cylinder to raise the seat. The turn of the seat over the spa is manual, but many people can maneuver the turn unassisted and operate the valve if the seat is side-mounted (not shown). When the seat descends, the water in the cylinder is drained into the pool.
There are no batteries, no danger of electricity around water, no pumps, motors, oils, actuators, contacts, gears, remote controls, expensive replacement components, or extensive maintenance schedules.
Aquatic Access lifts have few moving parts, which can be replaced by any handy person with common household tools.
Accessories include: upper and lower seat belts, a full-support headrest, and double flip-up armrests.
