May Manufacturing, a producer of hot tubs and swim spas, has named Josh Cowley as its new CEO. The company’s portfolio includes brands such as Artesian Spas, Marquis Spas, Nordic Hot Tubs, TidalFit Swim Spas, and Tropic Seas Spas.

Cowley brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in sales, marketing, and commercial strategy. Most recently, he served as chief commercial officer at Latham, The Pool Company. His career also includes senior roles at Stanley Black & Decker and Newell Brands. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The company’s board of directors conducted a comprehensive executive search, during which board member Bob Rowan served as interim CEO. Rowan will continue to serve on the board.

“We evaluated a number of highly qualified candidates throughout this process,” says Rowan. “Josh emerged as the clear choice. His strategic vision, industry experience, and passion for excellence make him uniquely suited to lead May Manufacturing into its next phase of growth.”

Cowley says he is honoured to lead a platform with such rich brand heritage.

“I have a deep appreciation for the pool and spa industry, and I’m excited to connect with our global dealer network and continue building a customer-first culture,” he says.

Cowley will divide his time between May Manufacturing’s facilities in Las Vegas, Nev., and Grand Rapids, Mich.
