Heritage details elevate contemporary spa design

Located in Toronto’s Fashion District, AIRE Ancient Baths Toronto occupies a historic Edwardian Classic building that was formerly the office and warehouse of the Copp Clark publishing company.
Built in 1912 and later designated as a heritage site, its original wooden structure and towering pillars remain, preserving the character of its storied past, which once housed the art of printing and now embodies the art of relaxation. Honouring its literary and industrial past, the space is adorned with vintage books and printing presses.
The AIRE Toronto location houses the Spanish wellness brand’s largest spa facility, spanning 2,137 m2 (23,000 sf), with 120 staff members. AIRE Toronto includes nine thermal baths, along with a range of amenities.
The spa will also feature a dry sauna, vapourium, 12 massage rooms, and two warm marble beds.
The new Toronto property marks the brand’s 10th global destination.
