Three of Vancouver’s outdoor pools will be getting extended operating hours after a busy season last year.

Per a report by CBC News, the Kitsilano pool will get extended weekend operating hours; Second Beach will add a public session at 8 a.m.; and New Brighton will adjust its opening and closing hours by 30 minutes and extend its weekend length swims. There will be no changes to the Maple Grove pool.

The lengths of public swimming sessions will also be extended, with most sessions up to 3 hours, up from 2.5 hours.
