Health Canada has issued a recall on John Deere green and yellow compact utility tractors.

The front cab support bolts may break, loosen, or fall out of place, posing a crushing injury hazard to the operator in case of a rollover.

The recalled items feature the text ‘John Deere’ and the model number (4044R, 4052R, and 4066R) printed in yellow and black on the front left side of the tractor. The product identification numbers can be found on a black and white label on the right side of the tractor frame, above the axel. These utility tractors were purchased between October 2016 and September 2019.

Health Canada suggests those using the product described in the recall to stop using the recalled mowers and arrange to have the product repaired by a John Deere dealer. For more information, contact the company at (800) 537-8233.
